Privacy Policy

Uni by UniLocal Marketing · Last updated October 26, 2026

This policy explains how UniLocal Marketing ("we") collects, uses and protects information in Uni, our service for local businesses ("clients") and the people who call or text them.

Information we collect

From clients: business details (name, address, phone numbers, tax ID for carrier registration), contact details, settings, and the messages they send through Uni. From people who call or text a client: phone number, message content, voicemail recordings and transcripts, and details they choose to share. From Google, if a client connects their Business Profile: the Google account email, business profile details (name, address, phone, hours, categories, website), reviews, posts, and profile performance metrics.

How we use it

Only to provide Uni to the client: texting back callers, drafting replies for the client to approve, sending review requests and appointment reminders, publishing Google posts and review replies the client approves, setting up the client's account, and showing results. We use AI services to draft messages and summarize voicemails on the client's behalf.

Google user data

Uni's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google data only to provide the features the client sees in Uni. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or let people read it except with the client's permission, for security, or as required by law. Google access tokens are stored encrypted. A client can disconnect Google at any time in Uni or at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and we then delete the stored tokens.

Sharing

We never sell personal information. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We share information only with service providers that run Uni (such as our hosting, telephone/messaging and AI providers) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

Text messages

People receive texts from a client's Uni number only if they asked for a text, texted first, or gave the business their number for service messages. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

Retention and security

We keep information while the client uses Uni and delete it on request or after the account closes, except where we must keep records by law. Photos and attachments are removed automatically after about 120 days. We use encryption in transit, encrypted storage of Google tokens, access controls and two-factor authentication for staff.
